New Show

On 19 November, a new show opens at Galerie Bart in Amsterdam. It will be together with Hans van der Ham. Please feel free to come around and drink a beer with us!

good news/bad news

Hello everyone, here's some good news and some good news.
the bad news is that lately i haven't had the time to draw since i am extremely busy with my one million other projects. The good news however, is that there are two shows coming up!

The first show will be at Ververs contemporary art gallery in Amsterdam, Hazenstraat 54. It will open on the 15th of May. A group show including Vincent Uilenbroek and Papa Adama.

The second show will be during the 'stripdagen 2010' in Haarlem, the first weekend of June.
My work will be shown in 'brasserie Beinum' klokhuisplein 3.

So for any of you living in Holland, please feel free to come around

Hello! i haven't been posting for 3 months now and wanted to let everyone now i am still alive and well and working hard - though on other projects. I have had almost no time and energy to produce new awesome drawings but new projects are coming up! In May there will be a show in an awesome gallery in Amsterdam, on which details will follow.

New drawings are being made (and are getting slightly more elaborate and bigger), but i like to make a few more before they get shown.

So....

here is a record sleeve i did last year for the Amsterdam indierockers 'labasheeda' , and didn't show you yet. (Doing record sleeves is awesome)

As of today i decided to use this blog as a store as well as a place for showing the work. All drawings will be for sale. Prices will be in euro's and I will ship worldwide. If you have any questions or if you are interested in buying, please write me at WWW.BLACKINKLAB@GMAIL.COM and we will set up a paypal transfer. Your order will be well wrapped between cardboards and celofane plastic to prevent crinkling and to protect it from eventual rain. After that, all you have to do is be on the lookout for the mailman.

All drawing come WITHOUT a frame, since i have noticed that people are very personal about their taste of frames. All drawings are originals, pen and ink on paper. If you are for whatever reason not happy with your purchase, you can return it within 7 days, your money will be refunded.

Up from today, sizzling new drawings, a new show opening friday the 6th in Haarlem!
get yourself to energieplein 16. The show is in conjunction with de beeldmakerij, rein blank, vincent uilenbroek, tom abbink and many others.

especially for the occasion, black ink lab pulled out the big sheets and made a large drawing measuring 2.7 x 1.5 meters

there have been no new posts for a while due to lots of reasons. you'll have to forgive me for the incontinuity. please come back in the future.

black ink lab got in touch with the brand new but soon to be famous/infamous hocus pocus comix. working from the smallest and most functional screenprintshop you have ever seen they will release their first issue very soon. keep your eye on them

from now on, i will post again.

scanner cord

The time has come to get a new cord for my scanner. One that works. so far i have been posting my older drawings. A fresh stack is waiting to be scanned, but in order to do so, i need to get that thing up and running. Since i am low on time, it might take a few days.

Sarah van der Pols currently has a show in Ron Mandos gallery in Rotterdam.
I haven't seen it myself yet, but my guess is that it is worth it to go down there.
